Bonnie′s Story

I was taken to the pound with my brother, Clyde, by the municipality workers. It was such a scary and unfriendly place for little pups like us. Thankfully, the kind volunteers there reached out to 2nd Chance Dogs for help. Now, we’re safe, settling in, and ready to find our forever family!

Character & Temperament

I'm a timid dog, especially around strangers—I need time, space, and patience to overcome my fears and feel comfortable. I get nervous around high-energy dogs that invade my space, but I get along well with dogs that respect my boundaries.

Ideal Home for Bonnie

My ideal home is with patient, experienced humans who understand timid dogs like me. I need a calm, predictable environment where I can build trust at my own pace, without pressure. A child-free home would be best, as sudden movements and loud noises can make me uneasy. I’d love a family that respects my need for space and gives me the time I need to feel safe. If there are other dogs, they should be calm and respectful of my boundaries. With the right people, I know I can blossom into a loving and loyal companion!
